Disabilities Assistance Payee Services (DAPS) was created to provide competent and accurate representative payee services. DAPS identifies individuals needing financial management services by engaging with institutions that come in contact with those who may need assistance. We further accomplish our vision by adhering to the Social Security Administration’s guidelines for Representative Payees.
Through the management of Social Security and Supplemental Incomes, we ensure that all funds are used to meet the current and foreseeable needs of the beneficiary and to save any remaining funds for the individual. An underlying goal of DAPS is to reduce or eliminate financial exploitation or mismanagement of funds. DAPS offers financial management assistance to individuals whose physical or mental illness restricts their ability to manage their own money.
